I have odd friends.

I dont do sentimental well but i do like falling into the familiar routine of friends doing movies and pizza just like in the tv dramas. Even if there ended up being no movies in the end. Tonight, XQ came over after i knocked off and we sat under my fairy lights, watched UP and The Man From Nowhere and accused each other of being heartless bitches for not crying at the appropriate parts.

It was fun!

I love the word fun it reminds me so much of flying hair and wind and laughter even though now everytime i hear that word it repeats four times in my head fun fun fun fun ala a certain Rebecca we know. (To quote Syaf, i actually would prefer my thirteen year old daughter to sing about fun fun fun over sex drugs and goodness knows what else. Also Rebecca Black donated the profits from Friday to the Japanese victims, effectively making everyone who laughed at her major assholes. re: http://bit.ly/gpSQlO. Lastly, somebody needs to introduce that girl to a decent concealer.)

I forgot what I was going to say. Oh well. In other news, im done with The Constant Princess by Philippa Gregory- Katherine of Aragon’s story from before she married King Henry. Its really pretty good- the only English political novel of hers i didnt like was The Other Queen which i found kind of flat, like warm coke with all the bubbles fizzed out.

Sunday:

A: “Jem why are you wearing a leather jacket”
Me: “Im channelling my inner rock star in honour of The Script’s concert on tuesday”

Noone found it funny except for me.

……….Sigh.
