1. lunch with the eliterate today, such drama. The initial plan was dim sum at zhou’s kitchen, but when we reached, the entire shop had disappeared into a mess of cardboard. JEM, they turned, YOU MADE THE SHOP UP DIDNT YOU.
Sigh.
So misunderstood.
2. sending jenna off to sydney, six years till she’s back. a morning of tired eyes, tight hugs, intense words, and closing gates.
3. last night
sudden cup of coffee after a long period without seriously caffeinated shots, and i was shouting things along the lines off:
ALL SORTS OF YAYNESS IS FLOODING MY BRAIN I AM IN SUCH A GOOD MOOD WOW I AM SO CHEERFUL I DONT BELIEVE IT GUYS I AM SPILLING HAPPINESS GUYS
I WAS SUPPOSED TO SETTLE DOWN AND READ SAPPHO’S POEMS BUT I CANNOT SIT STILL THIS CHEERFULNESS THREATENS TO BUBBLE OVER AND SCALD.
It only fizzled out about 2pm this afternoon, the entire night and the first half of today spent intermittently giggling and wandering around in a daze. Apologies to everyone who had to put up with me. This exhilaration, and i think to myself, now i know how lindsey lohan feels when she’s off on drugs. Also, i need to moderate my coffee intake.
